Captain Chaos

We went out to the Mud Bogg again this past Sunday but this time I convinced Brett, Kacy and their friend Austin to come along and spend the day with some of Florida's finest. Kacy agreed on the grounds that if she is going to be a good nurse practitioner, then she is going to need to understand why the children are all so dirty. As 'Exhibit A' I would like to present this picture, yes those are two children swimming BUT instead of thier parents taking them to the beach or to a nice clean lake on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, their folks decided that it would be OK to just let them take a dip in the local mud hole. Instead of 'adult swim' like they have at normal pools during the summer, every now and then one of the giant trucks would rev its engine real loud and the kids would wade over to the edge 1) to avoid being squased and 2) to jump in the truck for a ride. Brett filmed and narrated one of the trucks mudding, you can hear him say "kids in tow" refering to the 8 children in the cab of the truck and if you listen closely you can also catch a "shiver me timbers" going along with the pirate theme from my last post ;)
